My senegal birchir has a spot on his fin and its odd enough to have me concerned. On top of that he's been much more active durng the day for the past couple of days which is unlike him. He normally hides in the plants all day and lurks around at night.
So this spot, its on his front right fin where the fleshy "arm" connects to the actual fin. Its a sickly yellowish color about the size of a pin head. A few weeks ago he got pretty beat up by one of my convict cichlids who was quickly removed. The birchir's anal fins and front fins were chewed up and though they are growing back, I wonder if this has anything to do with this strange spot.
