Impluse Buy

ok so we drove for an hour to go to a pet store today..looking at filters and such and we wander over to the fish section (duh)...and my boyfriend points out this crown tail betta, now i used to breed bettas and most of the crown tails i could not stand, but this boy really hooked me.

well a little coaxing from him..(the bf)..and he convinced me to buy this lovely boy even though we had no need for him all my tanks are set up to breed and feed my main tank.
soon as we got home and had him acclimating he devoured a few black worms.

now he has a home in a 3 gallon planted tank that was a guppy QT tank.

enjoy..i also picked up a small horned nerite snail
..the pics dont do him justice..ill try to get better ones when he settles in.​

he is!..and im not a fan of crowntails.....he has tons of rays when he flares his tail..


hes doing great this morning..a little skittish of things ..flaring at anything that moves in his tank (snails) and running away when there is to much movement out side of his tank ..but i guess that is to be expected going from a bare cup to a planted 3.5 gallon ^_^.

he is doing great...the bf(who wanted to buy him) put a mirror up to the tank today and he cam rushing out and started showing off..and the rays on this boys tail are just amazing! ^_^ few pics of him now a little more settled in and one of his tank that is now settled from me cleaning the sand.

.. now he comes out and flares when we are near his tank..than rushes to the top looking for food...^_^

beautiful. my first betta was a king betta but he died haven't had one since but doesn't mean i don't like seeing other bettas lol
