Depending on the size of the fish, if their small, just get a "double gulp" cup from 711 and put the fish in their ;)

But seriously idk if they care. Aslong as its not a snake head or something :S
 
If you bought the fish (assuming it's not something prohibited) just claim it like an other purchase...unless it's a pile of expensive stuff, they probably won't even make you pay tax...
 
i have done this lots of times and you should definately have a receipt with the fishes common and scientific name on it and call before and check to make sure the fish is okay to bring across. because i almost got my indo pacific tarpon taken away coming over. Other than that they shouldn't give you any trouble.
 
Uhm... so.. not to be a bad influence or anything but cant he just cross the border without mentioning the fact he has a fish?

Ive crossed the border many times whilst on road trips with a van packed with stuff, they have never gone through every single item before.

And I'm a cocaine smuggler so I should know.....
