impossible to find Motoro Ray in Aus

Im trying to buy a motoro ray for a fish tank and its near impossible to find one at a reasonable price. I found one, but the dude wants 2500 aud for it...
which is way too much.


Is a budget of 1000 not enough to get a motoro ray in Australia?

If anyone in Australia has a motoro ray in aus, where did you guys get it from and how much. (Australia ONLY)?

does anyone know where i can get one from? I live in Canberra, but happy to pick up from Sydney.
Even if they deliver it and how much they want for it?

hmm if thats the going rate, where can you get it from, last guy that said he could get one for 2500. which is waaay too much..

i guess 1500 is reasonable if that is the going rate.

how would one go about geting one, just want to find one, secure it as mine, so i can go and get my tank setup organized.

(btw i have searched and couldnt find anything relating to australia)

see if you can get one transshipped to you... might save you some $$$....and i would recommend you set the tank up first and have it well cycled...

you have to wait till they come available....put up a WTB in forums such like plecofanatics...they always have good fish for sale.
 
wow.....realli great to know at australia do hav freshwater stingray now.....been staying in perth for 3 years, but seen nothing for that period.....which part of perth you from johny??
 
I've never seen a freshwater ray when I was in Sydney. The fish over there are very expensive, compaired with 500RMB for a motoro where I live.
