I have finaly found the reason to my problem. I have a 40x36x80 cage I built and I can't seem to get it hot enough. I am using 100 watts in incadecent bulbs, 40 watts in fluoresent and a 50 watt aquarium heater to heat the water bowl to 79f.

So ground level, the thermometer reads 75f..... I didn't understand why. But when I put the thermometer on the top shelf, the air temp is 88f.......

The only thing I can think of is a tiny fan that constantly runs. Or runs on and off. What else can I do? And if the fan is my only option, where can I get one?

you can use the same fan that is used to cool a computer. you should be able to get something like that online but they work perfectly to move air and do not use too much electricity. If you want heat though, I would suggest adding a bigger incandescent (maybe in addition to what you already have...)

I think my heat is fine. My abient tempurature should be around 82-84f. And since it's at 88 up top. I can use some of that to help out the bottom, Hopefully everything events out.

okay, sorry, I must have misread your post. yeah, a computer cooling fan should do the trick
