I would like to increase the red coloration of L25. This question is posed below in a thread with a different title. I figured labeling the topic may get more response.

Logic would suggest foods like shrimp and krill would increase the red. I have not yet to found this is the case.

I was going to try tetra color granules as this does increase red color in discus.

Any other suggestions or have others already found foods that improve color?

Thanks.

Thanks. Supposedly it's a Sao Felix which are thought to have more color.

I like your thought of the grand sumo red food. Anyone ever try it?

As for carrots, the fish seems to ignore them. Also, Sunlight is only a 4 month option here in Seattle - it's grey and rainy the rest of the time. The planet catfish link is of an outstanding L24 specimen - would love to have him in a tank.
