Impulse buy last night Acanthicus adonis

Stopped into my LFS on a whim and found that someone had surrendered a 20” adonis. I havent really decided if I want to keep it or not, but it sure is beautiful.

The Shedd aquarium in Chicago has a bunch of 36" monsters in a tank. So powerful and beautiful looking.

Cool pickup, don't really see these around so often anymore. Very impressive at large sizes.
