a friend of mine who's son is in a band wants me to go see them play Thursday night.I kindly said no and i would catch the next one in a few weeks on a Saturday.Then she said that some other band called the Cult was playing the same thursday this week.AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!Ive been wanting to see them forever.She knows the promoter as i do too so if i go to that one she will know.She sounded sad i wasnt going to her sons.This stuff always happens to me.Screw it!

You could also tell her that The Cult will only come through your area once every few years and her son's band will most likely have several more gigs.
