Well I can't decide if I want the wolf fish or a try and get a pair of wild caught mayan from rapps..if you had to choose which one? I want to try my hands at breeding nut having a wolf fish would be awesome

For the dovii it should be fine till 13-15 inches. the fish pair, you can have them till about 8-11 inches if you have no aggression. It would be better to move them sooner but this is the max size...
 
A 75 is much too small for dovii, a 150 is too small for dovii.
But did you mean by wolf fish, Parachromis dovi? or something else?
There are many fish referred to as wolf fish.

Sorry oscaroo I believe you misread the thread. He said wolf fish not wolf cichlid. Anyways it would only be good Max 12" but 10" should be good. Anyways iI would go with the Mayans also and yes a 75g would be good for the too imo
