A great idea is becoming more readily available from local merchants and chain stores. Some organizations even offer these clings free just for the asking. These window clings can help save ALL the ones we hold dear.

These can be used on home windows, barn windows, and windows on other outbuildings. Anyplace our pets are maintained.

While some animals may raise the alarm and even help guide owners out of a smoke-filled structure, there are just as many pets that either are penned or panic and hide instead of seeking a way out of a burning structure.

Help them to remain a part of your family by this tiny and easy gesture of letting rescuers know that they're also in the building and in need of saving.

As an aside, most Fire Departments offer free decals to place on the windows of childrens rooms to alert recuers that a child may be hiding in a closet or under the bed in fear of a fire or smoke.

this is great Phil.. just to have them aware of the rooms that pets dwell.. i will definitly look into getting some of these... almost all my windows or doors will have one..lol.. thanks

I have also seen reflective stickers that get put on the doors of kids bedrooms down near the floor.

Why put the sticker on the floor? Because that is where the flashlight is pointed when the fireman are walking through a dark, smoke filled house.

I give them out to all my tenants to put on the front window of their apartment or home.

i have a feeling no one would rescue my pets :-(
but it IS a brilliant idea. just to make people aware there r animals in the house is fantastic x

I think I might have to add a small map to show where my 5 gallon buckets and rubbermaid bins are... The fish being saved still need water!

You would be right, they do not directly rescue pets in the UK. Only people matter, once all the people are out the animals are screwed.
