Just got back from Dallas this weekend. Went to the Dallas World Aquarium while my girlfriend got her hair did before a wedding. I saw some the the largest RTC's, let alone catfish, in my life. There is a huge Orinoco display that houses 10,12 maybe 15 3'+ Redtails. F-ing unbelieveable. The 5-6 Gigas in the 5-6' range with them are equally impressive. This thread is just a heads up to anyone going to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Those fish are deffinately worth a look. Really cool SW displays with a lot of live rock and soft corals in with the fish.

Crazy stuff huh Ive taking alot of fish there and at the moment trying to get a job there!!!

Here are a few pics from the Dallas World Aquarium the biggest arapaima's are close to 7-8ft I'd say. ~Trent

they are all beautiful.

ooooo true beauties they've got over there. must cost a bomb to heat that huge tank. i love living in malaysia cause keeping fish is just a matter of filter and anti chlorine. my two RTCS are about that big but one is very dark/rich coloured while the other is slightly paler. perhaps male or female? hmmmm
