In desperate need of a pet ferret

I am in desperate need of a pet ferret. I literally need one. I love the little buggers. I want to own one as a pet. But one problem. I live in the caribbean, and there are ZERO ferrets sold on my island. When I ask the pet store owners why, they usually reply, "Ferrets are too expensive and would probably not be bought by customers." Since they won't order them, how do I get one? I really really want one? Anyway of having someone adopt one at a shelter for me, then shipping it to me? Any way I might buy one? HELP!

they are expensive where I live. Anywheres from 200 (if your lucky) to 400 is what I have seen in pet stores

I have 2 ferrets and LOVE them. They are like 24/7 puppies. Just run run and play.

About US $100 bucks. Or more. It all depends on how much he asks for.
