I made a post in general discussion a few weeks back about mislabeled fish...

Yes, this is the fish that got mixed up at my lfs as a pike cichlid

and

now its dead (found it 3am on the floor all dry up, and I immediately put it back into the water. It gulp a few mouthful of air, and it sinks back down in the tub. This morning (just now) found it all stiff and dead)

Well,its been said before and no doubt will have to be said again... Never ever leave a channa with uncovered tank!!
Sooner or later they will end up dead on the floor.
