in line heaters?

hi I have been searching for a while now for in line heaters. I have just completed a 220 gallon build, all my piping is 3/4 inch. ive been told its a better idea to run smaller heaters in case of malfunction so as i don't cook the fish.
my question is all the ones I have seen available are 5/8th diameter tubing.
can any of you suggest something 3/4 inch or bigger as id like to not restrict the flow. thanks for input.

This member was working on a modification to a Hydor ETH heater & did post some pics to explain what they wanted to do http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=254923&highlight=hydor+mod.

Unfortunately, they haven't posted since Sept 2009 so I don't know if this idea actually worked.
