In need of some oscar info

I got two oscars last month from a friend of a friend that broke his tank moving. Recently the heater for there tank stopped working, now there water temp is about 68 and they are not every active, one was laying all the way on its side today, It looked dead till i poked him. Is this from the cold water?

Also I don't have the cash right now to get them a heater, so I'm thinking about dumping them on Craigs list is 15 dollars each to much or to little?

i say just give them away to a good home. no need to sell them unless you know what kind of tank they are going into.
