Okay guys, first let me say this is an awesome website for knowedgle . Thanks all, for the input about the asian arro and them being ill.

-Next I am i the market to build my 300 to a show tank. Is it possible to house a nice silver and a leichardti? I would like to introduce them at the same time, so buytig them in the next coupe of day is going to happen. I have heard that the Jardinin is a killer, so I have ruled them out.
-I have had black arrow's in the past and they seem to grow way to slow and are really not much differnt looking than the silver to the untrained eye. Does the leichardti (which until now i have never heard off), do they get that wide body look of the asian? Thats the look I am looking for so the arrows can have two totally differnet apperance. Is this possible or just a pipe dream on my part.
Thanks inadvance

you are in FL, right? Blacks are illegal, jardinis are illegal, africans are illegal, leichardti are illegal, pimas are illegal, and of course asians are illegal. You can only get silvers here in FL.

Wow is that right man what is the deal with Florida and fish? That sucks, and thats funny not to get myself in trouble or anything, but in the past I have owned black arows. Maybe the supplier didn't know this.

sometimes they are labeled as blue, and get in. but it was lucky of you. I've never seen them down here myself

It has to do with the fish being able to survive in the natural bodies of water in Florida. They would take over areas and eat everything! It's odd that they would still allow silvers though, as I am pretty sure they come from South America? Where the climate isn't much different then the Everglades. Some laws just seem to make no sense at times.
