Morris, IL.
I have a male and female pup from the adult mom I have and was wondering if they would breed successfully when they mature or will they be deformed?

common sense suggests deformities

^agree why not sell the male and keep the female and get a new male.

i just noticed youre from morris! thats crazy i am too would never guess i'd find someone from this tiny town on here

there is a very very low chance of the offspring being deformed. it's not uncommon to breed brothers or fathers with sisters or mums in other fish, snakes, turtles. i suspect that it would take many generations of inbreeding to get a really unhealthy clutch or litter. at least more than two.
dont have any hard facts or solid evidence for ya regarding elasmos specifically though. what species are you talking about BTW?
