Inbreeding

Hi, I am buying 6 juvi jags in hope that 2 will pair off, is it better to get them from differnt batches to stop inbreeding or does it not matter

Depends how many of the parents have been imo, once is ok but obviously not as good as seperate genes tho... you dont know if your fishs parents were and those fishs parents unless they are trusted f0 or f1 for example....

Hey its safer to try and not get a pair out of the same bunch of fry as inbreeding can cause deformities, shortened life and all sorts of health problems.
