incandescent fixtures

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Home Depot sells at least all the parts that you'd need to build it, and I would bet that they sell them as complete units(heh-heh, I said unit)

24" aquatic incandescent fixtures are very uncommon. Why not just use a fluorescent?

my dad (whose tank it is for) like the light they put off better for some reason:screwy::screwy:

But its his tank and he asked me if i could find him some.
Its a 55 gallon so i would need two 24"ers or one 48"er right?

and to reverend thanks, ill check home depot sometime.

I don't think I believe you, if you want 24" of incandescents, I don't see why HD couldn't set you up with some fixtures, or am I missing something?

what do you mean you dont believe that ill check home depot? my dad is a contractor we go to home depot like 3 times a week. I'll look then

You could look at some of the reptile lights out there, they come in larger sizes with the incandescents, but keep in mind they will burn out much faster.

I'm just kidding, something else to consider though, is if your Dad likes the look of incandescent lighting, what about a different fluorescent tube(cool white, kitchen and bath) something with a hue closer to what he's after? good luck
