For some reason my 14 inch L25 has had a period of increased activity - he looks healthy but is swimming the majority of the day. Previously, the fish limited his increased activity to feeding time. He is still eating and looks healthy. No obvious change in tank characteristics that I recognize. Did a water change when I noticed it but no difference. Has anyone experienced similar activity from a pseudo? Any possible explanations? He's acting more like an L95 which incessantly search for food.

My l25 becomes more active "once and awhile". Not sure of the reason, perhaps water changes or just comfort level for that particular day.

I dont have a reaon but for the majority of the day that would probably be uncharacteristic. Maybe something is bothering him. Any update from the op?

He ultimately settled back down but still increases his activity when he's hungry.

The volume of activity was definitely increased and I have no other explanation than hunger. No issues with water parameters that I am aware of. He's the only L25 that I have had that acts like a Cichlid and follows me when he knows it's feeding time. I have had L95s that act like this but never a L25 - any others have a similar experience?
