So i have a female blood parrot in a 30 gallon and 1 male firemouth and they have eggs in a hollow skull decoration. can this species interbreed?

I guess anything is possible, since blood parrots are a mix of a bunch of species, they aren't a natural species themselves. Most BP's are not fertile, some are though. I guess if yours is fertile and the FM does his thing you could get some hybrids. I would personally just use the offspring as feeders.

Since they are both defended from a same ancestor it not only possible but probable, in a situation where both are ready to spawn.
Whether or not it is desirable to make more unidentifiable mutts, is another topic.

I’ve seen a pictures of bp and fm hybrid which actually looked really cool, I would grow a couple out to see what they look like

A fertile female BP will spawn with almost anything........

sad to inform everybody that the eggs are gone i don't have a clue what happened to them. is it possible one of the parents ate them?
