i have a pregnant bearded dragon. should i diy an incubator, or should i buy one?

those little hovobators from the feed stores always worked for me,its gonna happen again so you might as well buy one if you ask me.Im sure making one cant be hard at all but Im not sure what you buy seperate to keep the climate correct that wont cost as much as one of those hovobator things.

depends on your need for an incubator are you going to breed her again do you have other reptiles to breed. If not do a cheap one from www.lllreptiles.com for like $49.95 or if you plan on more breeding get a bigger one from them.

i have hatched out all sorts of things with a diy incubator, I will look for a good link on how to build one for you.

thanks for all the help....

we have a pair so i would like to keep breeding (if everything goes well)
i do not have any more reptiles.
i have found a diy incubator online and have everything i need already. i also found an incubator at a local farm store for about $65.00. the problem is that its a little giant "still air" and im not sure about the humidity levels im suppose to keep.

I would say build one but buying for you its easier. I would also recomend that you put your lizards temporarily apart until your female lays so that she has all the peace in the world to lay her eggs:) Very nice beardys by the way, the babys are going to be very pretty
