Yup, it's either a small redfin or grass pickerel, great aquarium fish. I guess it could a small chain but it looks like a redfin or grass to me.

apperas to be a Red fin pickeral the grass pickeral is a sub species that is very closely related and often considered the smae species as they have the same scientific name or did last time i checked the pale area between the bars are usually wider then the bars in the grass pickeral
