Hey y'all! I'm setting up my 75 gallon with an Oscar and a pleco! I would like to make a cave for the pleco to live in and am considering using some natural looking slate or granite slab?? I plan on glueing the pieces of slate together so the Oscar can't collapse the cave on the defenseless pleco :( What kind of glue could I use to make this possible? Has anyone tried this before?

Glue? Lol i would get a castle for the Pleco. Lets see if the Oscar would collapse that.

Glue >.< idk like maybe silicon glue? I wish I could give him a castle! but first I think I deserve a castle first >.> I don't want my fish better off than me... then they'd get egos and judge me...

silicon great just let it dry off so you wouldnt kill your hard work oscar

I used aquarium silicone for some slate caves I made for plecos. It works great. Just be careful of the silicone you use as some brands are harmful to fish.uploadfromtaptalk1361718711060.jpg
