Has anyone heard of these guys? I know the common name doesnt help, especially since when i did a google search i got CAE to come up. But they appear to be some sort of labeo sp. The guy at my LFS says that they are good at eating brush/hair algae. But idk, i was just curious as to the adult size. I might just pick one up, but i wont if its comparable to the cousin the black shark (which i doubt, but i am wrong on occasion
).
It has similar color, more grey than the black shark. The dorsal is not as high and there is a black spot before the tail. I'm trolling through fishbase as we speak, so either i'll take a picture of my own (cause ill probably break down and buy one) or if i find it on fishbase.
But anyone with personal experience let me know on the behavior if you can.
