Etroplus Suratensis juvi

Those are the coolest looking fish! I'm already on google looking them up. I've never seen them or heard of them before.
Edit: Ah-ha, I see why now. Indian Cichlids are super rare? I guess that means I won't be getting any. :-(

I've never seen them before either, they are beautiful little fish and I wouldn't be surprized if you see more of them gain more readily in the future.

the Etroplus maculata and the Etroplus Suratensis are quite common, so common that they are food fish,i.e; the suratensis.

only the Etroplus Canarensis are the rare ones, and these aren't mine, its a friend of mine who has these beauties, both adults as well as juvies

they look so awsome as adults,i have seen big ones before and i have been looking for Etroplus Canarensis for a while now....great pics

 Man those Canarensis are so :WHOA: I'd prefer these from some of the madagascaren (spelling :screwy:) cichlids.
nope they are from southern india and there natural habitat is quite closeby too :D

oh they are crazy aggressive towards anything thats as big as them or bigger than them, even plecos are shredded by these grazing fish.

even at the size shown above thats less than an inch they keep having squabbles with each other, but they don't seem to damage themselves.

thats awesome
