I will be setting up a 55gal brackish tank soon and I will be getting a large colony of bumblebee gobies, some 'freshwater' flounder, some sailfin mollies, and maybe some other peacefuls and nerite snails. I was wondering if the Indian Mudskippers could be kept in this tank if I provide plenty of out-of-water habitat for them in the form of turtle floats, wood, and such. The tank will have alot of plants in it in the form of java moss, and other things if this makes any difference. Thanks.

I guess it's possible but considering that the Indian dwarves can reach 4" in length, the bumblebees would be easy prey if they ever got to close to an adult. It would be nice to see if it could be done but I personally wouldn't risk it.
Younger skips would be fine though for awhile I think.

I think I will try it out. if I notice the skippers trying to bug the bees, I will simply take them out. Simple. haha..Id feel kind of bad. I think I will try it none-the-less. Got to get the substrate situation down first though.

I have an extra 29gal sitting around, I could use the wastewater from the waterchange from the 55gal and put it in there with the skippers and vwalah, a cycled tank full of indian skippers until the LFS gives me store credit for them.

Well, if I use the water and substrate from the established tank, that wouldnt work for about one or two days max until I can get to the LFS? I didnt think they were that sensitive to where it would harm them much in that little span of time. Correct me if Im wrong about this.
