Indo Dat 1” to 9” growth rate

Sup! Haven't posted anything in a good while though I’d share a little something. Been growing out 6x 1” Indo Dat since Jan 2019. One of the 6 has grown 2x in size compared to the other. Four dats is around 4” one is 6” and this guy is 9” pushing 10”. Wish my dumbut delete the photos when I had them all together. Anyways! Has anyone ever has experience them growing at this rate? I’ve kept over 50 Dats in the past 4yrs or so never seen anything close to his growth. He does eat anything, almost. His diet, massivore sinking pellets, algae wafers, smelt, shrimp and mealworms definitely not a picky eater. But all the other except pellets except for one eats shrimp only.

Yes I believe he is a Sumatran. Always hungry that’s for sure.

Awesome nice chunky beast! As a Dat keeper myself. I believe 98.6% of us have the Sumatran Brand.

I bought 2 x 3/4" Indos in July 2019 and 1x 3/4" Indo in Sept 2019. They all eat Massivore and Northfin Carnivore-the one bought in Sept will also eat tilapia chunks when I feed my Fire Eel and Florida Gar

Of the 2 bought in July the biggest is just over 7" and the smaller one just under 6". The one bought in Sept is just over 5"
The biggest one is the Alpha and eats daily. The smaller ones each probably every 2-3 days-I tho k they're intimidated by the larger one

I bought one around 2" last year around June. Right now it's around 8". I have 4 others that vary in sizes. However, I've noticed that the big one is the most aggressive eater out of the group. Also the least picky. They all take pellets, but the big one literally eats anything I drop in without hesitation.
