I got a 4" Indo like last week. He is just now coming out and feeding like a lil piggy. I noticed his left eye was cloudy and seemed to be misformed/shaped, but really didn't think anything of it until today.
I throw feed in the tank and he sees it. When he goes to get it, he seems to get confused and always swims right trying to find it. He eventually gives up and looks frustrated and heads for the bottom of the tank. He is dead on when the food is directly above him, but at the same level, he either misses it completely or swims toward it until it moves into his left eye sight and misses then does this violent attempt to swim towards nothing.
I don't think there is anything I can do, but wondering if anyone had experience with this or any suggestions.

When I picked up some silvers from the lfs, a few of them had cloudy eyes...looked almost like cataracts.

I just kept up with the water changes, treated with aquarium salt and within about a week it was all cleared up.

I had an Indo that had totally lost an eye, never seemed to really bother it, ate fine.

Cloudy eye clears with good water, I think it is an early sign of stress so give it time, some salt and should recover well.

Had an indo w/same thing, if it's past the point of healing then it'll adapt. Fed mine krill, so during feedings, it would glide the mouth to the top of the water and swim, when it struck a krill it ate.
