Can indo dats handle salt I normally put salt in my tank with every water change, but was just wondering if this is safe to do so with Indo's,I normally do a 25% change once a week and will put 10 tablespoons of API aquarium salt in.Is this OK

10 table spoons seem kinda extreme....

it should be, just keep a watch for the increasing salt levels as that will kill them. some salt is good for them, i keep mine at a constant 10 on the scale but they have been higher. as long as the change is gradual they will be fine.

indo dats and silver dats are both ok with brackish so they like a little bit of salt but deffinently watch the salinity level constantly.

Indos are a fresh water fish, they are not found in brackish waters. NGT and AT's are found in brackish waters in the wild. People keep a bit of salt in their fresh water tanks to prevent disease, which is usually 1 tblspn per 10 gallons.

Indos should not be kept in brackish conditions.

but he did mention his tank size was 6 x 2 x 2, therefore it must be a 120G and hes adding 10 teaspoon of salt, so it should be ok ;)
