I saw someone is selling 2" Indo Datnoid (3 thick bars) for $100 each. Are they really worth that much money?

The prices of indo dats are all over the place these days from the more informed vendors and private sellers who are aware that some buyers will pay a premium for uniquely patterned dats to the shops that don't know any better and place an entire tank full of them at the same relatively reasonable price per fish more or less.
I have seen some Datnoids in my LFS a while back. But I couldn't recall they are 3 bars or not.
But I remember all of them were hid in the corner of a tank and seem to be stressed.

It is pretty normal for them to bunch up and try to hide amongst each other in the shop tanks.They are lurkers and ambush predators in the wild and most shops do not provide very much cover for them.
It is unfortunate though that an indo with 3 bars is being sold for triple of what other pattern Indos are. It's still the same fish it's not going to be an ST no matter how hard people want it to be
Price gouging,capitalizing on people's desire to have a ST...plain and simple.
