I've got a 14" or so tarpon and I would like to try converting him slowly to brackish water as his growth has really slowed as of late and I'm thinking it could be the lack of salt as they move out to sea as they mature, or so I've heard. What other fish would be good tankmates for him? I was thinking of sword-spine snook, murray cod, barramundi, sea catfish, and i would like snappers or grunts but I've heard mangrove jacks are pretty aggressive so are there any that are more community tank compatible? Also maybe if i get the salinity high enough a small shark (bamboo or epaullette)?
