Hi looking for some info on Indo Pacific Tarpon.

I bought one yesterday about 7" to keep with my Peacock Bass.

Any info would be great thanks

Jay

Oh yer.... I know they get big and I have a big tank, so this isnt an issue :)

Hasnt anybody got any info me?! Ive had him 4 days now and he has not eaten! Very active though swimming up and down the tank

Mine is a big oaf that eats like a garbage disposal. At first the only thing he would eat is live, then I starved him into freeze dried krill, then I starved him onto jumbo carnisticks. Once he starts eating a food item, all the other fish in the tank have trouble getting anything to eat! Great fish though, peaceful and doesn't bother anyone.

Got mine on FD Krill and silversides and smelt. Of course will take any live feeders but can't seem to get it to take pellets

I had to starve mine off of FD krill for two weeks before he would really start eating pellets. Before that, he would grab them and spit them out because he saw the GATF eating them, but he wouldn't eat them until I starved the hell out of him.

Thanks for info. hopefully he will just get that hungry he will eat! Aparently they are feeding on prawns and bloodworm in the store... offered both with no luck!.

So after 2wks of throwing everything at this fish its decided to feed :)

Only problem is its Bloodworm .... gonna take a lot of bloodworm to beef up lol its a start though
