.
just had some questions about these guys,
first how big do they get
second would they need to go brackish/salt eventually
third are they worth having over other monsters?
and fourth what can be housed with them?
i was thinking of maybe getting 1-3 juvies and adding them with some ATF,payara, a perch or two,and some cichlids maybe.

thank you in advanced

they get big like 4-5 feet and are salt water there cool fish hard to find unless you can go to the ocean and catch them but i'd go with the fish you have listed in stead

Megalops cyprinoides gets to about 1.5 meters wild full length and migrates between freshwater and saltwater. I have heard they dont get past 12 inches in home aquariums but i could be wrong.

They get huge...As said they migrate to the sea to breed so I would think freshwater would be ok for a while. Oddball has tarpon but not sure if they are a different type than indo's. And I think indo is a smaller version of tarpon.
