So I have been through situations like this before, just with different species.

I recently added 5 × 2.5"-3" Indo Tiger Dats and a 3" Flagtail to my 8"-9" Panda Arowana Aquarium.

1 of the Indos and the flagtail have been grabbed by the arowana.

Both of the fish are alive and behaving normally, only suffering cosmetic injuries.

Panda Arowana has only been fed pellets and sticks since arriving at the airport from Singapore, never mp or feeders, as all my livestock are only fed commercial.

Panda Arowana has had tankmates of one form or another since coming home (gourami, angels, plecos).

The Indo has dime sized spots of lost scales on both sides of his body and the Flag is scratched up and has a shredded dorsal fin.

Arowana is not large enough swallow. I believe it has to be the Arowana as this happens at night and these fish could easily get away from each other but maybe not him.

There are artificial plants and mopani wood in the tank and ample space for hiding.

Interestingly enough, it is only the most active and boisterous Indo that was chosen as well as the bright silver flag that is also an erratic swimmer. These 2 always seem to be mid level, while the rest remain on the bottom or hidden.

Because they were only added so recently, am I best to leave things alone until they have sorted themselves out?

Leave the picked on fish present so as to divert aggression from the remaining fish?

As far as healing, my concern is the Indo Dat as such a bold and pretty patterned fish, will his patches heal completely?

I'm assuming that the Flags fin shouldn't be of any concern?

I think I might be overly paranoid but just thought I'd double check.

Were they able to sort things out themselves? My flagtail is being beaten up and staying in the corner all the time now... I wonder if I should intervene.

Honestly I don’t know you didn’t separate the fish right away. You’re asking us to justify scapegoating your pristine fish with the ones already injured? Can’t agree there
