Which is considered the "better" species? Basicly, if there were two of the same size, which datnoid would fletch a higher price tag, the indonesia datnoid or the northern thailand thinbar datnoid?

I think the indo dats are more in demand, especially the 3 bar ones that almost look like ST's. Plus, it seems like NTT's are easier to find, especially at bigger sizes. I haven't seen any big IT's at nearby fish stores, but I've seen a few stores have 4-6" NTT.
personally i like one just as much as the other. i like the way IT look and the personalty of the NTT. Id pay the same amount for eaither fish or the same size. Although you seem to see more IT then NTT IMHO
I think the NTT is more valuable but I personally would rather have a IT I have better luck keeping them stable
