hey guys im buidling a 300 gal pond(maybe 400) its 4x4x3 feet. the main questions i have are, is it possible to build a pond that i can use 2x4's but can you use large metal braces(90 deg angle braces) to hold the frame together? do i need to build a base or should the liner sit on the cement? Also i was wondering if i could use a under water, fountain pump to pump the water into a contaner with, sponges, bio balls, and peat. i was thinking about using a rubbermaid and drilling into the bass of it putting the end of the pump into it with 3 comaprtments and drilling holes out of the top for the filtered water to flow out of into the pond( i can use aquarium sealent all around the top of the container to seal it from leaks)
there will be a plexi lid to the tank so on the back of the tank i can set lights and so i can open the front up for cleaning.
i also keep plecs so i will be using 3 sets of pond liner to make sure i have no leaks
does this sound do able? do you think it would work.

its a raise up pond for

if you want to go pond go bigger than any tank you could afford - take it from me you cant grow many monsters in 300 gal - its easy to buy them but when you have a lot of 18in+fish 300 is small.
i would go 2000+
