so i am building a pond 8'-3'-2' and because of cost issues i am building a filter myself
inside the tank with a pump and a bow to hold media. my question is.
Do i place the pump after the box and then run it to a waterfall or some other exit
or
have an intake them the pump and then have it pushed throught the filter box?
i see pond filters set up the first way but read the pump say there should not be any resistance on the intake side of the pump. the pond pump setups i see are also rated at only 250 gph for a 600 gal pond. mine is only 350 but i was thinking i need a pump from at least 750gph up to 1000gph
