hi im about to move house and im going to trade my koi pond for a indoor pond in a conserverty i can use my old pond liner but what i wanting to know is how to heat it as it going to be in a conserverty i guess some heat from the sun but that want heat it up.
I would like a viewing window i dont know what to use and how think
its going to be around 700 gal and half suken in the ground
as fish jump how do you stop them from jumping out
ill be hoping to put in asain aros and rays and some cats
filter should be ok
any thing eles i shoul know

probally have to go concrete unless you want to have a metal fabricator make a frame for a glass window that could clamp onto your liner like a normal pond skimmer has that wouldnt be hard actually for heaters look on line and purchase atleast 3 400w heaters but here is a website that does filtration, heating requirements and can calculate total water volume oh yeah it telss you lighting requirements all calculations are based on dimension and gallons of water

check this site out if you are into indoor ponds its a helpful place

A couple ideas, to heat use a small pump to move warm water through plastic tubing in the sand bed under the liner.
To keep fish in the pond us sill pieces that over hang the pond a couple inches to keep fish from slipping right up and over the sides, if you have jumpers suspend a ring or lawn umbrella over the center of the pond and drape fine mesh netting (like nylon mosquito netting) from that to snap or velcro securing spots on the inner lip of the overhang, even jumpers like aros and curimata will just be deflected right back into the pond and when you are actually there and looking at the pond it can be just flipped out of the way or even rolled up and secured.
