Indoor Pond Sump

I am looking for detailed information on sumps people have setup for their indoor ponds. I have seen a few in the pictures on this forum; however, I usually can only see a tank on the side (or underneath) filled with a bunch of bioballs and equipment

Maybe just: how large of a sump tank is being used; how large of a pump for the return line; what bacteria medium was used in the sump; any other use information that I am missing?

try these two designs
i havent really thought alot about pipe size and what not.
for bacteria media just use lava rock potscrubbers rughed up pvc pipe.
you can use most anything with alot of surface area.
