this is just an idea, cause my grandpa just gave this pool pump to me that he never used, and i thought i could use it for a little indoor pond.

any have any ideas for an indoor pond around like 500 gal? what do u use? thanks alot, chris

oh ya if i did do this what fish do u think i should get?

are you looking for a plywood type tank outfitted with pond liner, because if so, ill be able to help you out there. :)

Id go with peacock bass, large mouth bass, gar, and knowing me, Id even through in some cichlids that can hold their own. (red terror, jack dempsey, oscar)

do something diffrent, mix em up, people say you cant, Ive mixed up fish before and its worked for me

well i was juts thinkin of a small one like 300 gallons, and just gettin one of those already made ponds.

but can u tell me some info about that plywood tank?

you may also consider a stock tank too, they are fairly cheap

most definetely. The way we built the plywood tank (me and my old man), was making a plywood frame. it's something like 8' x 4' x 24". Simply make a supporting frame, then outline the inside of the frame with pond liner, and bam. You've got yourself a plywood tank cheap.

sound cool, but i just want something simple, anyone got any pics of pre made indoor ponds?

i was thinkin of gettin some catfish, i have not done fresh for over a year, so what are some good tank mates with catfish?

ill post up pics of mine so you can see how easy it is.

alright thanks, it is just i wnat something i will be able to move, and is kinda small not to big, but big enough to keep some rays or cats.
