Won't have quite the detail as the other threads because it was built about 4 years ago now and I've lost most of the pictures
It was originally built for the koi because we only have 5 months of pond season here.
I reused some 4x14 timbers from a warehouse, they were stacked on edge, drilled from the top down every 2 feet, then dowelled with 5/8th rebar to hold them in place. The inside and bottom is lined with 1.5" styrofoam and topped with a rubber liner.
The outside was then finished with wood siding then painted and toped with tiles
The filter is a 2000gph, which is located behind the wall in a closet, draws the water and pumps it thru 3 Ocean Clear Canisters ( 2 sponge filled and one with a mirco filter) and a UV filter.
The dimensions are 7' along the walls, 3' in and 6' across the front.
Lighting is just a simple track lighten system with 5 halogen lights.
Aside from the filtration the whole setup cost about $500.
Currently I've thrown a FX5 for added filtration because of the rays being temporarily housed until my new tank arrives.
I've housed pretty much everything in there with the koi
