I'm thinking of building an indoor pond and was wondering if it's better to use a koi vat or build my own?
Any suggestions? Preferably from someone in the UK who has built there own indoor pond?

Depends if you want a window?

If you don't, then koi vats are pretty cheap on eBay depending on size.

But if you want a window, prices jump to around £2000 so may be worth trying to build something cheaper.

Denby koi ponds sell both.

Also I'd consider buying it as opposed to building it if you may move in the foreseeable future, as otherwise you won't be able to sell it if day, whereas a shop bought one will hold its value better?

Yeah that's why I didn't get one!

They are just a 2x4 frame with 2" styrofoam insulation screwed to it and then fibre glassed over! So if your any good at fibreglass then could probably make for a third of the cost.
