Indoor Pools in UK

HI i was just wondering if anyone has set up one of those paddling pool things . and how would you heat one of those things? looks realy good idea and much cheaper.

many people use pool heaters of a couple of 300 watt heaters depends in the pools size

i use 2x 300w but the fish room is very well insulated

I'm planning on just keeping the room warm.... Have you seen this paddling pool with windows?

thats fine as long as its not a catfish or perch type fish as i think you might have a lot fo water on the floor.

Its for my Convicts....might drop a manganese in there too... Then when I get a proper pond sorted for them its gonna be home to my Tetras......

How often do you think I'll have to top up the air in it?

too often. One thing that is a problem for vinyl is that it stretches. I'd expect to once a month need to take that down completely air it out and let it sit for a day or two. My wife and I slept on an air mattress for 6 months, like one of the fancy almost normal height beds. We found that every other week we needed to deflate it completely for the day and blow it up in the evening. Otherwise, our backs would be killing us, because of how soft it got. Well, I should say that we learned this the hard way after popping a mattress right before going to bed. Thankfully it was still within 90 days of the purchase at Wal-Mart.

Apples and oranges...not the best comparison. I had the same kind (blow up walls) but no windows. Up for 4mo.s without loosing any air. Project was over so I moved it (or it would still be ).
