Indoor preformed pond, heres the plan.

I have a 100g preformed pond and a 50g tank to use as a sump/refugium. Ill be using 2x4s and plywood/external grade T1/11 to support the pond and to make make a box around the pond and refugium. I plan on insulating the pond encloser with expanding foam.

Hopefully I can do bulkheads for the drain and returns to/from the sump and not have to rely on over flows.

Ild like to install a cascade/waterfall for extra filtration as well, it would be the return from the sump to the pond.

Anybody done this or seen it done?

Hopefully residential construction season starts soon. I should be able to scavange the frame, box and plumbing materials from jobsights, and the only thing I have to pay for is the screws, paint, bulkheads, plants, silicone, and the pump.
