I'm building my own right now. I have lots of ideas but want too see some of yours if you have one.

Mine is a 140 gal tuff tub w/ a DIY 5gal bucket filter (runs silent and I'm proud of myself for that :naughty: ). I also have alot of big slate peices a stump w/ some gold fish. I'd like to build a deck around it and conceal the filter as well as have some floating plants or lillies.

So lets see them!!

You can look at my crapy little tub in my gallery. Its a rubbermaid with a drain and a canister filter. Simple, but it works. Its time for an upgrade. My female is big enough that she can get her front legs up over the side of the tub. So, every morning, I wake up to a splashing noise, look over to see whats going on and my turtle is staring me dead in the face. I'm scared on day she will crawl out and try going down the stairs or something.

I posted some of ours the other day, the thead is still around. Our turtles like to eat our floating plants, but ours grow like crazy so it doesn't matter:)

cool, thanks

ballsmcgee1234: I saw your thread in the pics forum, I almost bought a preformed pond myself but found this 140 gal tuff tub for $36 at TSC.

softturtle: that's a cool tank, just your turts are huge for it. They look nice though. I wouldnt want my common snapper waking me up in the morning.

I'll put up pics of mine so far as soon as my friend sends them to me.
