ok there in the same tank same size 220G all are uner 1 inch the silvers are stable the indos are not there all eating (alot) so my question how do you get dats stable an any tips on pellet training? theyll taste em but spit them out thanks guys
Tasting and spitting out usually is the step just before acceptance, from what I've seen. If some of the dats are accepting pellets but some aren't, just seeing the other fish eat the pellets should help. Also, I'll sometimes mix pellets in a little cup with vitamins and frozen food all stirred together into a sort of babyfood sludge with pellet chunks. That way it all tastes the same and they eat it without even realizing. Just some ideas.
It's a start. I have 7 indos (7"-12") and they were all pellet trained by the time I got them. Now I'm trying to pellet train a couple of NGT's and a 3" Silver dat. Those suckers only eat cut fish and shrimp. I feel your tribulations! lol
