Indos?

My mom works at a fish farm, and had access to a lot of fish. She has access to baby datnoids at 1.5" and she gets them for 8$ a piece. I'm assuming they are Indos. This is the only picture I can get. And would it be ok to put a group of 3 with my bichirs that are about 3"? The datnoids could be closer to 2" I have no idea

Looks like a 3 bar dat mate. Go for it should be ok but your birchir may try it on as it gets bigger, quicker than the dat
