industrial grade vs medical grade o2

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Medical grade has to go through process of approval (FDA regulations) for purity and cleanliness.
Industrial grade doesn't have the same rules since it's usually used in torches and stuff like that.

Industrial grade oxygen is fine for fish. There is no point in getting a guaranteed purity grade of oxygen (I do ship a lot of fish).

industrial grade is probably the same thing, just not certified. The extra money comes with the extra red tape.

yup it's true that extra cash is to run it thru another refinery then get it tested and ceritified.

Great question. I have wondered this myself. Since I allways have feeders die on the way hme I have thought about getting a O2 bottle. and just bagging myself so I know they have a better chance for suvival.

Good question. glad someone finally asked.
