Anybody know a good place to catch shovlenose sturgeon in Indianapolis? And what bait do you use to catch small ones?

Not even sure if there are any? If there are surely they would be in large bodies of water like the white river. dead fish, cut fish, etc on the bottom would be your best bet.

Use johnsonville polish sausage in the deeper pools in the white river. Tried them out one night and actually caught one along with about 60 pounds of channel cats and couldnt believe it. You may think its crazy to use polish sausage, and i would have too about a month ago. But there are a few sturgeon still in there.
